By using secretmessage.me you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

Who can use it

You must be at least 13 years old. If you're under 18, check with a parent or guardian first.

Be decent

Anonymous doesn't mean anything goes. Don't use secretmessage.me to send or share:

• threats, harassment, bullying, or encouragement of self-harm
• hate speech or slurs aimed at anyone
• sexual content involving minors, or sexual messages to anyone who didn't ask for them
• someone else's private information, or anything illegal
• spam, scams, or automated messages

We may hide or remove content, block senders, and close links that break these rules. Where the law requires it, we cooperate with valid requests from law enforcement.

Your content

You're responsible for what you send and share. You keep ownership of it, and you let us store and show it only as needed to run the service, for example to deliver a message to the link owner.

Your account

A quick link lives in the browser where you made it. If you don't save it with Google and your browser data is cleared, the link and its messages can't be recovered. You can delete your account at any time from Settings.

Secret notes

Notes are deleted once read or when their timer ends, and we can't decrypt them, so we can't recover a note for anyone.

No guarantees

The service is provided as is. We work to keep it running and safe, but we can't promise it will always be available or error free, and we aren't liable for messages other people send you.

Changes

We may update these terms. If the changes are important, we'll say so on the site.
